Probably going to turn into my latest player that I just want to see play 10 straight games from the start in a position that suits him. He's talented and has a good understanding of finding space, but he's a central player, probably more of a #8 than a #10 (#10 in the system we play is better), and I really feel a run of starts in a spot like that could end up working really well.

As it is we get a bunch of sub appearances or weird starts on the right/left where he's drifting around and the system gets too disjointed.

100%. Scrapped more than some of his teammates. But doesn’t excuse him from currently offering nothing other than a go between.

He did slip for the goal, but you see that pass 10 times a game from keepers now, and the ball gets sliced first time out to the right back to break the soft press and away we go up the pitch. May have been unlucky to slip, but not having people blaming the pass.

He does have something, but he’s no kid. He urgently needs to work out how best to use his abilities. The way he loses the ball is nothing to do with the position we are playing him.

Gets a minor pass today as he looked like he gave a toss when other didn’t, but he needs to be aware that he also did nothing at all of note.

It drives me nuts. Slipping once is understandable. Slipping continuously tells me you're wearing the wrong footwear. Basic prep.

At fault due to a slip but never should have received a ball with two players on him and enough chances to defend it.

I like Charly and his attitude and hustle. But imo, Jack and KDH are much better than him. They should be your starters over him. And yet we start him. It’s maddening!

People are giving a lot of benefit of projection to KDH. Personally I'd rather give it to the younger and more productive player in Alcaraz.
