How. When he will be on the bench earning 70k a week
Well I’d rather that than Tim Iroegbunam coming off the bench and costing us Premier League points.
How. When he will be on the bench earning 70k a week
Maybe a loan?
Because he works hardHope we can get that done and should’ve got it done a few weeks ago so he could help out off the bench tonight. Our fans will have turned their opinions around on him by November.
Not in the position he plays. And it’s a 3yr deal probably the whole package will cost 12 to 15mil for a guy to warm the bench then walk away on a free at 33. Will be a shocking buyHe’s a reliable player, its not the big sexy name but our squads tiny
I thought we already attempted to sign Trossard earlier in the window but he had steep wage demands so we scuttled the move?Bobble mentioned Trossard as a potential forward but again he is another who favours the left presume he would be seen more as a striker who can play on the wings if we did do it.
Absolutely. Just as I did in the 2 years that have passed since that post.
He's not content as the signings haven't come off not at the recruitment team in general, you have to be naive to believe he doesn't have a significant influence on the targets and direction of the recruitment itself.
I guess for 7-10m wouldn't be bad but still doesn't address our issue on the rightThat would be the ideal scenario but doesn’t he only have a year left of his deal? I’m sure I’d read that somewhere so I’d imagine they’ll want to cash in on him
But if a utility forward isn’t he, so wouldn’t be bad but what would Arsenal want for him?
He mentioned we had enquired about Matty Cash aswell and was quoted £20m and we felt that was too much for us
I think you are being pendantic. Sure, it is his job and money is involved. If we are discussing my point about it being free, the content can be accessed for free at the moment. Other abstract problems with the methods he makes his money, the value he is providing a media company, and how the media company makes money is separate from my point.
myers providing everton content for free and all he gets is hate. The article definitely didn't say anything interesting, but at least he isn't charging for it... and he has gotten some conversations going.
Because he works hard
Our fans would be saying it day 1 because it is the lowest bar we have
I'd prefer us to keep Armstrong tbh but if he's not in the plans then we could do worse than Brownhill to fill out the squad.
Would like our targets to be better than him though
Why didn't you mention wanting to sign him last Summer when he went down then I wonder.
That's gist I always got, that it's more him venting his collective frustration than faulting anyone else but that's just my interpretationThe he's essentially whingeing that he's not done the job he's largely in control of.
yeah, I meant from the reader side of things. I expect him to be paid as his career is everton journalism.Hang on. You said;
"For free". "Isn't charging for it".
Evidently you was unaware - I'm simply advising you that the company/GRVMedia will be paying him to produce his weekly column.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing, we've all got to eat - I'm just clarifying that he's not producing content for free out the goodness of his heart.
With any opinion, more so paid columns, comes scrutinity (it's not hate!) and that's just fine.
He'll have us at least mid table. The issue with Moyes is always that he constructs limitations on the club's he's at but when expectations are raised, he struggles to meet them.I have my suspicions over Moyes concerning this window.
His whole demeanour has been to stress he's 'not happy' with things - but he knows full well stating that time and again means that it's not a great look for our efforts to get players to commit. We look desperate.
Moyes does not want expectation levels to grow. More signings will do that. His default position at this club has always been to get into a comfort zone where nothing is expected other than making a fist of poor circumstances.
He's constructed that situation again.
That's not to absolve those above him as they should have just swept his strategy aside (in fact they would never have kept him on). But Moyes will have dragged his feet and put opposition up to the thoughts of any committee set up above his head.
Hand him this season as he'll get us safe. Then I'd get him down the road next May.
