Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

That Sunderland performance is a clear example of why teams should be doing their transfer business as early as possible.

Fair play to them for their urgency to carry out a plan. They are ready to play matches and it will give them a far better chance than other recently promoted teams.

If they get beat 4-0 next weekend will you still post the same comment?

Don't promoted teams typically spend very early because they have the finances available and in are usually desperate to bring in players suitable for the premier league? All the other promoted teams signed extensive players this window already lol whether they're good or not is a another question look at Ipswich last season

It’s also an example West Ham are terrible and Potter at Brighton is looking more and more like a fluke every day

Doing business early is great if you can afford to overpay and your targets are easy to get (desperate to play in the premier league with no other suitors)

Now Grealish might not be ready to start against Leeds Monday but surely it was worth waiting to get a player of his quality over the line rather than loaning Harrison because it could be done early (for example)

Brentford sign striker from Bournemouth quattara 42.5 million is he worth that
No that's a mad signing..... I'd worry for Brentford this year.....

Well I won't worry but replacing Franks, Mbeumo and the midfielder that went to Arsenal will be tough. I can't see Keith Andrew's being up to the task
