Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I’m sitting here reading this with Bessie on my lap purring away. I’ve had a heart to heart with her as she’s been away for 10 nights, I thought we’d lost her and Mrs bl was really desperate for her return . And as it happens we’re waiting for her ( Mrs bl) return with a new kitten called Jenny who was identified and bought four weeks ago . So my talk to Bessie invluded her future responsibilities for her new “ sister”.
We took in another cat 6 or 7 years ago , she was semi wild and took a bit of introducing to the others we then had. But with Mrs bl’s TLC it worked out very well. Although her and another female never got on she integrated well with the others. I think it’s worth a shot at taking on Nacho , if he’s really friendly . It would be a bit of a disruption for your own cat and likely require a bit of patience on your part but worth a a go. Says the man who’ll shortly be having another cat in the house and answered a friends question with “ Well, four cats are not much more trouble than three 🤷‍♂️” Good luck with your decision!
Nacho is coming for a visit tomorrow. Im hoping that because he is a boy our female cat will be more tolerant towards him- and that his stunning good looks will sweep her off her paws! I feel that the cat distribution system is in action and he's coming to live with us regardless.

Good morning all on this fine day .I hope all are well and had a good night .Nice to see City looking menacing ,let's hope they unseat the other lot ,unless we do it ! Today I will be mostly tuning ,it was such a relief to get the quad running we/he found three adjustments to make so no wonder it wasn'r firing up now I just have to get the mixture correct ,I say just, if only it was so simple .The flames that came out the exhaust were because there is not enough petrol in the mixture which seems counter intuitive ,apparently there is not enough petrol going into the carb which upets the balance and that results in the petrol not being burned off . If you understand that then please PM me as I am not sure I do .
Have a great day all COYB

Thats great and sounds like a sensible approach to cat distribution and integration. We currently have three wee kittens in our utility room , separated from the house by a glass door . Daisy one of three “ older” cats approached the door to observe kitten mayhem, fluffed up her tail to twice its size and had a few low growls. Integration of Jenny, our new kitten will be fun and I’m sure ok . The other two kits will be gone end of next week hopefully. Meanwhile we have three adults out in the sun somewhere and three kits showing much cuteness and mayhem 🙂. Here’s Jenny and her two brothers .

Good morning all on this overcast one here ,I hope all are well and had a good night ,it seems @Pilks is posting but just not on here which is fine , nothing from Fred over the weekend he must be busy .Off to the shops soon and the chemist for a restock ! I am looking forward with trepidation to tonight's game .Wouldn't it be lovely if we clicked straight away and got off to a good start ,like three points ahead of Man U .
Have a great day all COYB

Nightmare day today my friends.

Workies in refitting the big double gates to the back garden so keeping the pups secure is a nightmare.

Add in that mum's carer will be using that gate to see mum .

Oh and did I mention a visit from the Occupational therapist and District Nurse today?

Good job I've already been and done mum's weekly shop.

No rest for the wicked.

And the little matter of Everton at Leeds tonight. Don't know whether to be excited or scared at the prospect.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Happy Monday all, like you @jazzy i don’t know whether to be optimistic or scared, and my fear is DCL goal, Jack Harrison assist 😂.
We’ve sorted 2 things out this afternoon which seems to have taken an unnecessary amount of time and complications- sorting out travel insurance and renewing Virgin package contract. I need a lie down now.
Grealish has a big weight of expectation tonight if he plays and the selection for our defence will be interesting- here we go again for another fun filled season COYBs 💙

I hope you got everything sorted without either Granny or dogs escaping!

Nacho came to visit today and he's still here. She couldn't wait to leave him. We asked why she was getting rid of him and she said they only got him because the daughter- who is about 9 - wanted a kitten. Nacho is 2. She said again that she hasn't got time for him but I think she did not like the fact that they had to pay to board him when they went to Turkey a few weeks ago. They had somebody to look after their dog. He's absolutely terrified, he growls if I go near him . I feel so sorry for him. Our cat has shown zero interest in what is going on so I'm cautiously optimistic that it might work out. If it doesn't Charlotte is going to have him.
I can't believe somebody could be so mean. She is definitely no longer our hairdresser.

She sounds like a totally irresponsible pet owner, shame she still has a dog if you ask me. Nacho will definitely be happier away from that household.

Hope things worked out today and Everton can finish the day off nicely - that might be a bridge too far though. That’s me - ever the optimist.😂

Well done on finding a solution for Nacho between yourself and Charlotte he’s certainly going to a better owner than he’s had.

I’ve just renewed with BT and took Money Saving Experts advice on haggling. To cut a long story short - I saved a massive £5 a month and almost lost the will to live .😂
