Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The ins though, at least for me feel too few and not quite good enough. Grealish and KDH are the highlights. The rest I am not sure start at this point.

Extending Branthwaite and Pickford (did we do that ?) were good signs. Gana short term probably sensible too.

I am probably thinking that the first XI is better in a couple of areas but the rest don’t start. I still think we need RB and LB, RW, DM, CF. I suspect that we are rubbing up against PSR if we push the boat out for Dibbling and that is the issue.

Hopefully the loans that will come in will strengthen us squad depth wise but also hope to see a first XI starter come in yet.

We have already signed three players that I think will be first team regulars in JG,KDH and TB. The rest are players to help deepen the squad which was always going to happen.

I think that Dibling would have been the fourth regular starter and still may be...hopefully.

If we get Dibling then I honestly do believe we could resign JH as cover there. I know many don't like this but I think it will happen . I think that could be a deadline day move .

A right back and cover in central midfield and I think that will be it...there will almost certainly be a loan or two in there.
 
It's strange this window. Weve signed 7 players. 2 of which, we would be great signings for any team in the league. But we have such a serious weakness on the right and that we're all really worried.

For my part, it looks like right wingers are the world premium at the moment, everyone needs one. But I'm still positive that it will get sorted before the end of the window.

And next week we will have one.

Just one game to negotiate without that player is fine with me considering how we have strengthened already.
