Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread


6/10 so far and that’s only because Grealish has saved this window so far…. Need at least another 3 in before end of the window to take it up to 8-9/10.

Let’s hope we have enough for Leeds and the following 2 games

We're not a mess because of the current owners though. We are mess because of the last 2 owners. the new owners are being more prudent. Hopefully not to the point that we leave ourselves being gazumped.

Just chill and leave the fume for 2nd September.
 
Maitland Niles then left from the list as RB candidates ?????? Could cover center midfield too. Or i have a feeling we go with loans only after Dibbling (or if we get any other cheaper right winger there might be money left).

We have been in such worst positions over the last 5 years as well...always was going to be a huge summer of transition with the work needed likely to go to the end of the window. Not ideal at all, but I am still far more optimistic going into this season than I have been for a long time. Still think we will get Dibbling in then boost the squad with a few more loans to tide us over in the short term.

Think is right to fume becuase is a failure by the club to not be ready for the season. Still not fixing the pace and right side of the pitch, can still have a good window but hard not just getting angry at the club.

What were they mate?

I'd have said we needed a striker, left back, centre midfielder, and a couple of wingers as our main priorities.

After that I'd have said right back, centre back and defensive midfielder, but lower tier priority compared to the others.

Think we've done well so far

Obviously natural right winger is a glaring omission but if we want that signing to be our most valuable, takes longer than the rest and we surely have enough in the squad to cover the position for the few games we've got in August until we get that deal done
