Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

What, because I and others refuse to accept lies and mediocre signigs for the most part after massive promises of better things to come we must be shut up?
Not sure Matt was saying you have delusions of grandeur but you are prone to a wee gaff or two from time to time. We all are.

In general life i agree if you give your word stick to it.
I am a stickler for it plays on my mind if I cant do something I have promised to someone.
But realistically how many do?
I see it every day in work more and more just look after themselves
Got that way I don't interact with most other than to be polite.
It seems its the way of the world these days.
We shouldn’t lower our own personal morality to accommodate the decrepitude of others.

I'd imagine as the end of the window approaches , if Moyes is hyper focused on premier league experience as reported, we'll be looking for castoffs from the teams that have vast squads. Was always something Moyes was inclined to do in the past. I think that preoccupation with premier league experience as prerequisite needs to cease at this point if someone has it great if not proceed anyone we don't need any further conditions to impede a vital search for players

Same for you pal.
Meanwhile - me this summer..

I should’ve been more specific, the staff above the manager don’t work weekends.
Not sure thats quite true about the Recruitment team either. More than likely down on a rota.

I think we won't see any further signings until closer to the end of the window. I say this simply because thats notoriously when the various pieces to every teams transfer puzzled start to fall. An analogy was put out earlier that this was like chain in the property ladder. We're just waiting on that to be pulled and every link will start to move round the cog.

Ah so we’re waiting for our routine panic buying time in the final 24 hours of the window then. To address the two positions that everyone without fail said were the most important positions to address. A meticulously planned out and professionally executed job from all concerned.

We are a mess.
