Yep. When Moshiri spent the money, it was absolutely the right thing to do - it was just the horrendously bad choice of players (ageing with no sell on value) that caused the issue, but seems to have scarred some fans.

They've baulked at what appears a reasonable fee set for Dibling - certainly in relation to other signings made by clubs who I deem lesser lights than Everton.

Given the prices being asked it seems like some deals will come down to deadline to force a decision.

In some other cases it reminds me of house buying - the complications of a chain where everybody has to line up.

It's been a bit 'meh' but also a bit 'yeah' (Grealish and KDH) but I imagine TFG and DM have the echoes of the points deductions for financial mismanagement and the fact that we seem to be a specific target for Masters & Co in their considerations about going 'big' with the spending. I'd say thats pretty legitimate...after all we wanted Moshiri & Co out because of financial ineptitude.

Tough conditions for a full rebuild. A staggered rebuild is probably about the most sensible approach considering where we're at unfortunately.

A few loans will definitely materialise in the coming weeks plus at least one and possibly two permanent signings when the transfer window climax approaches.

We will have 1/4 of our eventual seasons first choice back 4, it's away at a newly promoted side's first game back in the prem, and Dom has just signed for them. Truly nothing has ever been more nailed on
