If they've lowered their offer maybe we've said ''two can play at that game'' and raised ours.Have we accepted the counter offer yet?
Honestly just pay up or go away Everton, doing my head in a bit now.
It makes me smile that you feel that you have a better insight into what type and experience of players the club needs, what the strategic plan is and what PSR restrictions we're facing than the actual management of the club.I agree with the model however given the teams requirements & psr we can’t be spending so much on one player. In short model is right but not the execution. I would say Azhnou is more in line with what we need to do. This is also why we shouldn’t be touching Grealish.

Maybe you should apply for a role there and give them the benefit of your wisdom?

Probably hahaThis a direct quote from the Southampton boardroom?
Southampton have to pay 25% of the 25% sell on clause back to everton...no wait....!I doubt it's the fee that's the holdup. I suspect the sell on clause is what's ruining the deal. But, a way around that is for Everton to also insert a sell on clause or some other target based bonus when we sell him on.
There is no offer, it’s our position. We wanted Gnonto, we had to settle for Harrison. Grilled cheese off da radiator. We should take a Phil Leotardo approach

Yep, we all know that. But this isn't about that, as you well know. This is about people constantly criticising the club thinking they know better how the transfer window works, how much we can spend altogether, what our optimal player strategy actually is in relation to potential and experience in any position, what our actual PSR position is, and given all that how we balance immediate need with medium term strategy.I’m sorry but you don’t need to work for the club to have known that we needed a right back and two right wingers![]()
