I don’t think they would charge us punitively, it would just be business , one American corporate to another , it’s not like either group are supporters of their respective teams .
But I think if we were going to sign Doaks it would have been done by now.

Realistically, we are unlikely to have half a dozen new players in by Friday lunchtime’s registration for the weekend but objectively thinking, the squad we have SHOULD get a decent set of results before the window shuts.

I do think the market will open up the closer we get to deadline day but depends how the selling clubs feel under pressure by PSR to sell.

Can’t blame them by holding out for the most money but at some point, someone is going to have to give in and negotiate especially as you don’t want an Isak situation to deal with.
