I think ai on Google just surface reads aload of sites on the matter and creates a opinion based on the general consensus.

Which is good for factual stuff but for more niche subjects with varying opinions its fairly useless.

With regard to loans i was always of the mind that the loaning team did pay wages of the loanee but it was all paid in a lump sum before the loan starts. Thats why cancelling loans can be a bit of a hassle.

We’re not stumping up the £40m for Dibling at the min and Ipswich are demanding similar or more, but I’d rather overpay on Dibling than Hutchinson. Our scouts filter must be set to UK only at the min.

He's way too close to the Everton scene. I never trust anything he comes out with.

It’s also goes through the Tech Bro/Fascist American Regime algorithm to filter results. It’s probably not a problem in this case, but it’s how they warp reality and make inconvenient facts disappear (and propagate their own BS)

If we really want Dibling then make the deal. Don't go for an alternative option who is not as good and also extremely expensive.

I have no issue with moving on to other players but it makes no sense if they aren't better value and more affordable

Which is exactly what original poster did too. Each situation is dictated by what is negotiated. We didnt pay any fee to Leeds for "He who shall not be named", we paid his wages directly.
