When do players need to be registered with the club to be able to play in the first game of the season ?

midday Friday. It’s the last working day before your game. For Liverpool and Bournemouth they have until Thursday.

It stands to reason that if you overpay for things you won't have enough money to buy other things that you need. Or you borrow like crazy, watch your finances fall through the floor, and suffer from points deductions. The general attitude of that time was one of overspending and Glyfi is right at the top of that list. We suffered immensely from PSR and I don't want financial indiscipline to crush us again.

I'd be surprised if we get two in before Leeds the rate of knots we're going at. I think we'll get them by September 1st but who knows if they'll be the requisite quality.

I'd say Grealish in this week and that's it. And I'd be surprised if he's thrown straight Into the team without much pre season. Cue much teeth gnashing

I don't recall him rejecting us.

We can all make up stories. I recall Everton not meeting Coventry's valuation and backing out of the deal. I just Googled it and that seems to be the case.
