Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Most of them yeah. Our squad was really not good.

I expected us to sign clear upgrades in attack at the very least because we've not had quality there for years. We might still do that but its getting late now.
Already done that really. KDH a clear upgrade on Doucoure for a start. Confident that Barry will turn out to be a very handy striker as well, certainly on a much better trajectory compared to DCL.

Grealish and (potentially) Dibling and thats four clear upgrades in the final third of the pitch - great business for one window. Another CM and we're set.

That isn't 10 players either - closer to 7-8 if you count Alcaraz.

I like Dewsbury-Hall a lot but he's not really an attacker, more of a midfielder

If we sign Dibling and Grealish I'll happily agree we have upgraded in attack but neither have signed yet.

Do we? When did they join?
Mate, I’ve been in full agreement with you on all this up to now but you aren’t half getting tedious. Yes the recruitment team could’ve got a RB and RW in much sooner but they’re quite clearly trying…it’s not as if they’re just sat there doing nothing about it. The main people within this new structure haven’t even started their jobs yet so it has been a bit of a mess but I imagine future windows will run much more smoothly.

Right there with you mate, truly.

It won't be 'end of the world' stuff if the window closed tomorrow - but even I'd be really disappointed if at least one additional quality wide forward wasn't sorted before the window shut and I'll be the first to admit that.

Full back is also important
Every position is important if we're being honest as we're still a very average side. There's obviously just clear priorities - but again I'm just advocating for a bit more patience to ensure that we're making sound decisions in the market for once.
