I didn't get searched but my wife did and it seemed to take ages but maybe that’s a training need or just for the test event purposes.I saw a lady get her perfume taken off her. Weird.
It was a bit hit and miss and our encounters with proper stewards were excellent but the people hired just for the day seemed clueless and not really able to help people with genuine queries.Yes mate. Ild say these are mostly glitches...but we rely on having skilled and thoughtful people stewarding the situation to overcome those glitches.
I hate to keep on at it (well, I dont like but...) but I thought the stewards overall were.
I'd hope that will get ironed out they have 2 weeks to get it done. The ground looks spectacular both inside and outside.I do too mate. I said above the stadium is amazing.
But the club need to look at these issues raised by fans as a matter of urgency...especially people caught outside for an hour or more because their system failed at certain gates of entry. If that happens in a PL game there'll be consequences Ild imagine.

Agree with the colour around the ground all our party said to much black and I heard a few in the ground saying itThe problem with the West side which could of caused queues is that they close it off while the coach pulls up and the players walk through which lead to lots of people not being able to enter the stadium and it became very crowded.
But please Everton get the decorators in and get the whole place turned blue, and get some character in it ASAP.
Reminds me of Parkhead without the interruption of the main stand.
They are very alike internally and in vantage and closeness to the pitch, I’d wager also in atmosphere on a big night.. (Obviously not exactly).
The club should read forums like this and be alarmed / informed.I'd hope that will get ironed out they have 2 weeks to get it done. The ground looks spectacular both inside and outside.
Is this the village street thing? What is that all about? I hadn’t heard of it before today. Maybe I didn’t pay enough attention when buying STsThe prawn sandwich brigade are easy to have a go at. The truth is that there were problems with the kitchens so some people, mainly kids ordering from the kids menu, were served very late and some were promised food at half time which again didn’t materialise. Goodison also had a hardcore of fans who wouldn’t return to their seats after half time - too cosy drinking free ale and watching the match on a telly. One really good thing compared to Old Trafford is that the tvs are small at BMD which encourages people to go back to their seats. The food, when it came was unbelievably good. The staff were fantastic. My only gripe was the closing of the concourse to allow the players in, which is why me and my son had to blag our way on with Moshiri.
I got body searched on way in, and I use a cane, and I am ninety, you couldn’t make it up.
Did they think your cane was hollowed out and filled with vodka or something? Should have hit them over the head with it and told them not to be so cheeky.I got body searched on way in, and I use a cane, and I am ninety, you couldn’t make it up.
