Reckon there's like a <5% chance that we actually want to sell Garner. Think any hopes that we do are misplaced.

I’d like Garner to be given a run there. He’sa good player, for many reasons, hasn’t been able to show it yet. 6 is his position

The problem is Garner is used to support our Right back, because whoever we put in there has problems.
The reason he sometimes disappears or doesn’t seem to be “doing his job” is usually because he’s having to do other peoples.

Hopefully he’ll prove you wrong mate. Personally I think it’s too early to judge players over the last couple of years. It’s been a circus from top to bottom in the club. As in some significant injuries, and it’s obvious that he wouldn’t have played to his potential. I think all players should be given time to prove themselves given the new stability.

Good players stand out though, Onana was hit and miss for us but a champions league club came after him and we made a 20mil profit.

Also dont think they will be in any pressure to sell him, just have to see if he is in the starting lineup for sunderland

You can guarantee that he’d be playing every week at Sunderland.
Why would we spend that much if we didn’t think him capable enough?

That’s strange one to add in mate. He was actually dropped, and garner played ahead of him. Let’s not conflate him standing out, with PSR needs.

We have so much to do this summer, you’re probably right, but by all accounts he had a clause this summer that another club could activate, but that hasn’t happened, he has a year left, if he was as good as Some on here think. It’s funny how it’s doesn’t look like many teams are interested. I think he will get a new deal just to make sure we get 15mil for him next summer

I don't simply because most of those players were only signed because we were skint. They became Everton players not because they were good enough to play for Everton as we would recognise it, but because Everton descended into a financial mire.

Of course, a few may prove themselves worthy of a better Everton - but I think our default has got to be that the players, in general, are not good enough and we need to upgrade almost all of them when we can.

He’ll be offered a new deal because it will be vastly more expensive to replace him.

That’s was down to our clueless manager not knowing how to use good footballers.
Didn’t see many teams coming in for garner. If we did get an other for 25mil I bet 95% of the fan base would happily drive him to his new club
