Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Let’s not take a punt on any kid then.
He won’t be getting sold for a long time, unless he does amazing in his first couple of years.
Everton will most likely give him a new deal 2 years in so it cuts down our yearly costs and if/when we sell him,
Even under what we paid, it will still probably give us a a profit when you factor in his value to the club
If people don’t see this kid as being different to others, they aren’t worth arguing with.

What a monumentally disappointing week it has been, all things considered. Again.

The two obvious and massive, gaping holes in the squad left completely untouched.

Yes we've brought in a player who should be useful to us and hopefully will prove to be an astute signing, but going into the week before the season starts with no quality right back and no right winger at ALL in the squad is criminal — those responsible for the state of the squad ought to hang their heads in shame.

As it stands there is no clear improvement to the starting XI over what finished last season. That's absolutely scandalous.

I had exceptionally low expectations for this week so I’m pleased with the signing of KDH.

Still no sign of a right back which is a tad frustrating.

I don’t think we should expect too many more signings until the loan chaos begins in the last week of August.

Focus now should be getting the squad fit and ready for Leeds.

They've been working all week to bring in targets. You, I, nor anyone on here has any idea about what right backs they are looking at or speaking to.

We do know, thanks to Southampton seemingly negotiating through the medium of David Ornstein that we have serious concrete interest in a generational talent to play on the right wing. We have improved our midfield quality with the addition of a hard-working, progressive and skillful #8 and we are in negotiation over a loan for an England international who was instrumental in two league titles over the past three seasons.

That's not remotely disappointing from where I'm sitting.

A pass that doesn't go behind the man and some actual ball retention will show this. For all of Doucoure's positives of energy, my god he was absolutely last when it came down to finesse.
Someone who can move the ball with a bit of verve rather than holding and slowing (this is aimed at most of our cm in last 20 years excl arteta, dacourt, Gibson and manny Fernandes)

Its 126am. Spill the beans.

Are we expecting something to happen this beautiful evening?

Damn I feel so refreshed not debating with people on here.

That ignore function is magic too!!!
Our new RB - Antonio Hibbertinho will make his debut tomorrow
