Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Judging from Joyce's podcast today, think the Dibling deal is dead and Grealish deal no where near as its been made out. Slightly less Sunshine and happiness today.
Every report in the last few days has made out that it is a really complex deal that won’t be sorted any time soon. Nowhere have I seen it be suggested that it’s near

Does make sense for everton to let info sbout walking away have had southampton using the media. Grealish will go to the very end of the window as the will get offers most likely a loan. But will be down to whoever pays the most

Keep on reading how ‘complicated’ this deal is. I have no idea why tbh. City will loan him but want the full wage paying.
Maybe they will drop that towards the end of the window.

I don’t really see that as ‘complicated’ tbh.

Yeah it’s not complicated in that sense, I agree. But it’s certainly all based around the financials of it, (and any obligations etc).

I imagine he has a tonne of clauses in his contract as well relating to appearances, goals, assists, city winning trophies and there will be negotiating around those to do etc

Sesko wasn’t ‘pushed’ to United. He just knows they are a bigger club as he watched them win the league throughout his childhood.

The media don’t decide transfers between clubs.

If you want all the media attention and adulation - win football matches.
How do we/can we do that?
Win football matches when we aren’t increasing player numbers, never mind player quality?

I didn't think it was that simple doesn't real Madrid have a 50% sell on clause along with the fact real sociedad already sold some of their better players?
Think there is a release clause of like £55m isn’t there? If we are hitting £50m for Dibling, and kubo was higher on our list, it doesn’t really make sense that we backed out of kubo.
