Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

It's only worth waiting till the end of the window if you get top players in. That's not happened before and that's why I'm highly sceptical about it.
If we get beat 3-0 by leeds, re-sign Harrison and spurs nip in and grab Dibling then yes we’ll all be fuming but non of that has happened yet!

Still time to get quality players in

Way I see it, what is here currently is good enough to get results from the first three games.

Games straight after the international break are going to need 3-4 signings that can go straight into the 11 so that is where top half hopes rest.

Agree about Alcaraz but I think it would be better overall to play McNeil on the left and Ndiaye on the right (until a right winger is found). Ndiaye plays on the right for his country and McNeils only chance of offering something to the team is coming off the left.
If you dig into the numbers, he's more of a threat from the right. He has more goal contributions per 90 in this position. Ndiaye impressed everyone against England on the right, but he rarely plays there, and McNeil is the better choice for his ability to provide cover for the weaker side. I don't think there's any question that McNeil is the current best choice for the right side and Ndiaye for the left.

If we get beat 3-0 by Leeds, it'll be more than new players we'll be looking for...

Because he wasn’t our first choice winger a month ago
I think it makes sense that Malick Fofana and Douglas Luiz would have been targeted together. Dewsbury-Hall is someone who will work better with a winger like Dibling. They're very different profiles and will be a lot more productive with the right complement.
