Just going through some of the Saints forums, they are resigned to loosing him.

Interesting they value Mateus Fernandes as their prized asset over Dibling, also there is another young lad Robinson there that they rate.

Had an alright PL return last season as well mate, considering they were on of the worst PL sides of all time.

I doubt he'd be playing on the right. Sooner Ndiaye or Alcaraz I'd wager. The pre season games so far haven't been an indicator of anything set in stone as far as XI's go, as Moyes has himself admitted.

Well I hope you're right.

I'd have either of those over him on the right any day of the week.

This is true, if that’s how it plays out, but that same team have also now completely whiffed on five attempts at filling a (the?) priority position. A RW really had to be brought in this week and now it almost certainly won’t.

I’m not saying that means they should agree to that deal, but I’m reluctant to give too much credit for them sending themselves down another dead end but braking before the brick wall.

They’re the deals we know about. We can’t assume we know of every avenue pursued.

The key will be if they have plausible alternatives they can get in instead.

If so, yes. If not, oh oh...

They wanted a 100mil a month ago, well at the end of season, so I doubt we get him cheaper, they need to save face to the fans, can’t be saying 100mil and then sell for 35 a few months later
