Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Clearly they thought they get their top targets and they havnt, look at what Southampton are doing, probably had the same off other clubs, the market is way over valued right now

29 year old Diaz 69 mil
Mbuano 70 million-worth 35 max
Isak 125-150
All the PSR-proof scabs (bar united) have massive squads already and have bought in the few players they need.
All the challengers to the scabs and below are running around like headless chickens panicking with scatter gun transfer policies.
The Scabs win again. :(
The ladder has been well and truly pulled up.

Hang on wasn’t that you moving the goalposts by mentioning that our game is on a Monday? Which is a completely irrelevant deflection from the original point because you don’t have an actual argument to come back with?
Only one of those players looks remotely close to being signed. The season kicks off next week.

Our season starts the week after. If we're being thoroughly accurate.
I was simply providing a fact.

I'm sorry reality is so harmful to you. Are you sure football is for you? I hear quidditch has a growing following...

Well if you want to play that daft game, I said the season kicks off next week, not our season. The premier league season kicks off next Friday.

I’m sorry you’re so triggered by facts.

Hate to say it but look at how City and the RS. Conducted their business early. Squads have had pre-season to gel whereas ours…
Silly statement really that....both of those teams have everything and more to offer like Europe, the real chance to win a trophy and of course big wages. Us on the other hand have a new stadium, a new kit, a 'project' and better foot-long hot-dogs than last season.

Not really close is it.

I'd be tempted to split the money and between Fellow and Juanlu.

Solid winger, backed up by an attacking full back.
Imo we will have the cash to make the signings we want. Southampton are just taking the mick and we rightly are walking away, story yday was that 40 guaranteed was the magic number. Today its 45 and a big sell on, as I said time to walk away.

Still plenty of time to make this window a success but if we end up with Fellows as the only option on the right it will have been a MASSIVE failure. Already deemed not good enough to be a squad option by Moyes in Jan. After all the carry on this window we need to bring a starter for that position on the level of Kubo, Fofana etc.

If a shop shuts at 9pm, do you rush towards it at 6pm cos its closing soon or do you rock at up 8.55 and buy your stuff?

Transfer window closes 1st September Mike.

It doesnt care about your feelings.

Yea it's disgusting
Hundreds of million pound benches for the scabs

Well if you want to play that daft game,
is that a no to quidditch then?

We don't play the Friday, Saturday or the Sunday. We play on Monday evening on the 18th of August. We play Leeds, so their first fixture is on the same day at the same time. No idea how their transfer window is bobbing along, and, quite frankly, don't really care.

The Premier League season doesn’t care when the transfer window shuts, and it still kicks off next week.

The longer the window goes on our chances of bringing anyone half decent reduces dramatically. People tried telling me it was the other way round 🙃

Ok, absolutely none of that is relevant to anything so goodbye.
