Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Absolutely can't be going down that road..... We paid 50 for Sigurdsson when nobody else wanted him.....

Nuts....

I'd like Dibling but not at the fee quoted. It's a take it or leave it offer now
And if we end up with the likes of McNeil and Harrison on the right, what then?

We've put ourselves in this position by not addressing the right hand side for years. Moyes pulled the plug on cheap deals for Nuamah and Fellows in January. If we'd have had one of them in, it would be something and then we could be patient with acquiring the quality player we need this summer. That was the mistake Moyes made. Everyone knows we are desperate for right wingers now. And I guarantee, if we go back to West Brom for Fellows, it won't be £12m now, it will be a lot more.

At this point, we need to bite the bullet on this position and keep a tougher stance on our recruitment in other areas. If we miss out on targets in other areas, so be it. But we cannot do it at RW.

I’m not saying we don’t get one. I’m saying if the right player isn’t available then loan a make do one and focus on other areas and go again next year.
Well that will probably be Harrison back, only we'd be paying more than his £5m a year wages this time because there would be a loan fee with them being in the Premier League.

Seen a few links last night and this morning to st Ɖtienne and Georgia winger Davitashvili, some fees mentioned of around Ā£15m toĀ£20m

Looks fast, but another predominantly LW, though can play RW, given that we need 2 players that can play RW I could see us getting someone like this even if we do get dibbling

He is not Jack Harrison so it’s a yes from me. Some Georgian grit can’t hurt.
