Yep definitely a gamble, but I’d sooner spend big on players with huge up side than players we know are mediocre. Bolasie, Doucoure, Siggurdson, Schneiderlin spring to mind.

Yeah, but on the flip side his age also means if he turns out to be as good as folks are thinking then his value in a couple of years would double or more.
