Did we lose double digits?

i counted 9 (unless you are including Maupay and Holgate for some reason).

And most of those already replaced (some by players returning from loan to join our squad).
Virginia - Travers
Begovic - Tyrer stepping up
Young - Aznou
Mangala - Armstrong
Doucoure - KDH
DCL - Barry
Harrison - Dibling clearly the target but not over line yet
Lindstrom -
Broja - (didn’t provide anything for us anyway)

Behave Dave, we let a load of crap go, and imo should have let Keane go as well. People need to stop making out we’ve lost Maradona and pele.

We will be much better off at the end of the window than we were before it, even if we don’t get many more deals over the line.

All this catastrophising from some needs to stop.

So we wont get revenue from the new stadium this season?

Wild that.

Debt refinanced by TFG is saving us tens of millions (rumoured to be around £50m) per year. The new stadium income will be close to the same. Especially with increased corporate facilities and the new naming rights deal.

Even on the lower end of estimations you'll be looking at £60m-70m increase in revenue. Thats not taking into account other things around the ground souch as concerts that will be happening, the money made from selling stones, the shop and everyday foot traffic.

Then theres the money generated from leaving goodison and also the fact weve sold the women's team and will be selling goodison park.

I think we'll be fine for psr next year ;)
 

Not convinced by these potential signings. I dont think they are ‘game changers’. I think we have missed out on better players. Positive is the age of the players.

Gonna take a few seasons to improve the quality. If we can add KDH, Dibling, a 1st team right back and one or two loans, that difference in quality from last season is vast..

If we get them over the line they’re better than what we had last season in those areas. Evolution not revolution I’m afraid.

Think we are forgetting how bad things have been the last few years my son. These players will get us to upper mid-table. It's from there we can kick on and look at Euro qualification and then attract better players. Evolution not revolution.
