Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

From Doucoure and Harrison to Dewsbury Hall and Dibling. Not what I expected but definite upgrades.

I think the Moyes comment regarding elite players convinced many of us we were going for it this summer. It hasn't (yet) transpired that way. None of the players currently linked or potentially signing make us a top 6 team and that's problematic for me. I know we've been scraping the barrel for a few years now but the sense of change within the club may have, wrongly, given us false hope

I'd be happy to date to add Dibling and KDH to what we've already done, all things considered.

The focus on youth is very welcome,
albeit we need a little more experience too.

I'd like us to add someone with a little X factor, in addition to a bit of experience. That might come later on loan.

If we can get Dibling/KDH done and another 3 or even 4 on loan then in the round it will be ok and offering hope for the future. Just hope they can add that sprinkle of excitement somewhere.

Important that the deals on the table get completed first.

We seem to be doing that thing we like were we write off the first few games.

Issue is the 3 new ones won't be improving our 1st team any time soon.

We need 1st team improvements now.

If we get these two signings, suddenly it becomes a really good summer - and then I'd imagine it'd be a case of who we can get in on loan (if we got grealish and a decent right back then we'd be looking VERY strong)

Very much a long shot, but if we could have Dibling, KDH plus at least one more to add to Barry and Aznou for Saturday, then yes it's looking a lot better.

Let's see if we can get these deals sorted asap and not mess around.

KDH cheaper, less baggage and probably more suited to what we need right now. I agree.
