Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

This and Dibling this week for starters would be sound. Give me a RB/CB (depending on what the plan for JOB is) and I'd even go so far as to call it an excellent week.
Think KDH and Dibling in the next few days would be enough to put out a decent side for Leeds and would allow us to take some time filling the rest of the squad up to the deadline.

I just see a player who clocks off way too many times.

Hard to be upbeat about such meh signings.

Are we actually going to make a statement signing this window instead of squad fillers and little better than that?
I think we tried they said no unfortunately.

Tbh if youd said at the start of the window that we’d:

Keep Branthwaite and extend his deal

Make Alcaraz permanent

Not renew any of Doucoure DCL Young Harrison Lindstrom Mangala Broja

Spend 30 mill plus each on Barry, Dewsbury Hall, Dibling.

Also add Aznou and Travers for good fees as a back up competition.

and have it all done before the first game of the season.

I’d have probably taken that right there and then.

Assuming Chelsea don't try and fleece us I'd be really happy with this. Saw a lot of him in his Leics days and on his day he was a really tidy player. Obviously hasn't had the game time at Chelsea so if he can get his drive back and is used effectively, he would a very useful addition. Similar to Dibbling, Grealish... in wearing socks low if nothing else :D

To be honest I'm not that fussed about a statement signing, would rather we make the right signings for our needs.

I know it's not exciting or glamorous, but chasing the statement signing is what gets clubs into trouble (just look at Man Utd spending the big bucks, have any of their signings addressed the fact their defence and keeper are hopeless?)
