Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Maybe not, but being pied off by him for FULHAM FOOTBALL CLUB certainly isn’t going to help perception is it?
He was already a Fulham player and when they showed they still wanted him he decided to remain there , happy with the manager and club.
We may have even offered him a better wage for all we know .

2614 pages of nothingness.
Full of KFA's masquerading as ITK's, Fifa-Playing virgins claiming they know players and tactics better than the manager, wanna-be 'journalists' scrapping for social media likes......the transfer window has so much to answer for.

Close season is a tedious time.

Nothingness but we've signed 4 players so can't all be nothingness, can it?

Perception is important in football. Tete deciding to stay at Fulham over us sent out the completely wrong message IMO.

Feel like going the extra mile (financially) to get that done just sends a message that Everton are actually an attractive proposition again. The dominoes fall easier after that.
The other perception if we do that is Everton are easy to bend over and spank for an extra 25k a week off bang average players

Yes its difficult especially with nine teams in Europe, but If you scout properly you can attain a right winger who could develop and is of standard. We just make excuses while other clubs like Bournemouth, Brentford et al even Sunderland fill positions and reinforce. We make too many excuses for the club for me.. If people really want to judge them on September the 1st after we have left ourselves weakened for two games fine, let's do that. But I also look at years, years of not addressing fundamental issues at right wing, right back and the chronic lack of pace in the team and not all of that is about finances or players saying no, its about poor recruitment, scouting and a "oh well this will do" attitude at the club.
Bournemouth, Brentford, West Ham, Brighton, wolves all lost key players and haven’t really replaced at all so far. Same goes with forest. Palace haven’t signed anyone of note. Villa have struggled to. So have Fulham. The bottom three are miles behind.

We’ve kept are back 5 together, plus Gueye, who together were one of the best defences in the league and have slowly started adding young, promising players to an albeit small squad.

We add dibling, grealish and a handful of loan signings and I’ll be confident that we can consolidate on the second half of last season.

If a player sees Fulham Football Club as a better career opportunity than Everton then we are clearly doing something very wrong. We’re not even talking about a Villa or a Forest or even a West Ham. We’re talking about a club that is as tinpot as it gets.
