Everton’s transfer constipation needs a good Fred enema.

Here we go!!

We are either going to have nothing pre leeds or all these deals are going to come to fruition over 1-2 days!

Can feel the positivity being sucked out the room with each passing day
“If Kinnears got the money he says he has, he’ll negotiate the Luis deal when he buys the 10 rolls of farrow & ball”

We're approaching Alan Myers tweet territory.

Sometime early this week we'll see this feller start his serious spinning exercises; dropping stuff about "extraordinarily difficult marketplace", "need to wait for things to fall into place with other clubs higher up the food chain", and "the club hope to get some late deals done in the final week".

And some of our fans will indulge him by pathetically asking: "Al, what''s your gut? Four or less players in?", or "What's the odds on Grealish agreeing a deal, Al?"

This is an outrageously bad position to be in after all the talk of "unprecedented summers".
Totally agree.. we NEEDED 2-3 in last week.

Were in a bad bad place currently. It's getting embarrassing!

Wednesday is a public holiday in the Ivory Coast so I'm sure the club will want to respect that by holding off transfers then. Meantime, Thursday is the King of Bolivia's birthday, so unlikely to see any action there. Friday end of week and the weekend is the weekend—Hammond and Kinnear are planning to furnish their respective new mansions then, so clearly no time for transfer negotiations then either.
It's OK...apparently we have multiple bids ongoing (according to a well known its, not like by everybody in here)...yet bet you we'll not hear anything until well into the week where we may (or may not) hear that we are in advanced talks...then there is the medical which with us takes a number of days.

Here's hoping there is an avalanche of new signings over the next fortnight.
Bloody hope so otherwise going to be one serious avalanche of piss.

Has to be though, squad is far to small and weak in certain positions. Us being anything even close to now when the window shuts would be as bad running of the club as anything the previous two owners did.

I've been really optimistic about things and banging the postive drum but this is really pathetic know.
No ability to close any deals
I support other clubs in other leagues with a lot less money than us and yet able to close signings in just over 24 hours, a few days maximum including the medical. Not sure why do we have to wait days, sometimes weeks before submitting new bids. You either find a common ground when you buy from another club within 24 hours/2 days max or you move on to the next target. Not having a dof for me is a killer.

I think it's there is at least 3 players apparently ready to join and we refuse to pull the trigger.

Dibling a few million off, Mcatee £30m will get the deal done, Grealish said yes ( Joyce has said the finances don't scare us).

I've said let's not jizz all our money in ott deals but there is a line and that is a distance spek on the road now.

You support other clubs ! Heresy.

The US tour has been embarrassing enough. No mark outfits like Bournemouth and West Ham doing full squad rotations and we're like Old Mother Hubbard.
I agree Dave. It was an opportunity to put in some positive PR and attract new support and make a bit of a name for ourselves for our American owners and we have done the complete opposite. We have made complete tits out of ourselves and look like unprofessional amateurs. Half of the players getting yards in their legs should not even be in the starting 11.
