Midday watched Gateshead 2-2 Sunderland (at Hebburn Town’s ground) and then at 4pm South Shields 0-4 Sunderland.

Great to see the entire squad get a run out across the games, and nice to have a beer on the sunshine while watching our new signings, youth players, fringe players etc.

A sensible fan who realises that beating Gateshead doesn’t matter pre season. You could come and talk to a few of the lads in the main forum could you. It’s like the Somme in there
