The biggest worry for me is not so much the lack of signings. Im not sure at all about the new ownership….doesnt look great…

I've been quite impressed with the new ownership so far to be honest. Big reshuffle within the setup of the club and we've got some good people in behind the scenes

We have been linked with Juanlu Sanchez a fair bit for a while but the feeling was Napoli was his priority - just wasnt Napoli's. But youd think Napoli will make it happen. Still think these players like to be on the bench of a UCL club rather than playing football which is a real shame. Lets hope we can change it.

…..we were linked with DAVINSON Sanchez at the end of last season. A few suggestions he was on our radar for this window but I haven’t seen anything more recent.

"We" have 2 choices here.

Choice number 1, we assume we dont add quality to the side and we struggle for most of the season.
Choice number 2, we assume we add real quality to the side and we compete at the top end of the table, finish an in the end disappointing 8th.

If you believe Choice number 1, your August is ruined, full of daily misery, then you endure the next 9 months of the season
If you believe Choice number 2, you have a great August, then you endure the next 9 months of the season as the crushing reality of Everton grinds you down into a small paste.

Or choice number 3, which is essentially choice number 2 and we finish 4th.

I think you have to talk about ‘profile’ when talking about someone like Aznou given nobody has seen him kick a ball.
Age, stature, academy, price.

He looks like the right profile!

So profile means a player who has little in the way of profile? See, I just can’t get on board with it.

We view him as too similar to James Garner so I would say avoid like the plague
