Both...the situation HAS changed. We are playing a rabid Leeds in about two weeks with ZERO additions to our starting 11...dont know about you but I find that a little disconcerting...

No it isn’t football manager. Exactly why you don’t just offer ridiculous wages to players in order to get them sign.

Why are we scrambling around in August when we knew we needed 10 players

To be fair it looked like we weighed and measured Walker and swerved, decided Tete was a better bet and got gazumped. I don’t know for sure, but it doesn’t seem like the free agent market is full of class players waiting to be snapped up for buttons.

Don't really understand the pivot to viewing Tim as the worst player ever on here.

He's not the finished article but I think he will be a good player, good athleticism and technique, just needs to learn to read the game better.

I dont think its personal against him as much as watching him and realizing that right now he really doesnt look like he can hold down a position in the midfield...the one I saw doing that before he was hurt was Mangala...shame that one.

I’m not totally convinced on him , but he has enough that I’d like us to take a chance on him.
At around £20m it’s worth a punt .

I think there’s a lack of appreciation at the club as just how much our stock has fallen with agents and players. It was like this when we had money those first couple of seasons under Moshiri.

We are not a big club (in eyes of general footballing world but used to be seen as such). We are not a recently successful club. We are neighboured by three bigger or more recently successful clubs. There is no London factor with us and we have no European football.

We need to learn to walk before we can run and target appropriately, and this does not seem to have been the case so far this TW so will be interesti

I am not disputing the need for recruitment.
Merely hoping the club doesn’t start settling for low quality reinforcements at this point.
This would tell us that our direction of travel has not changed an iota despite the change of ownership.
Tired of watching crap players playing crap football for a club that cowers perpetually in fear of relegation.

Well the only solution then is fot the new owners to buy better players to play for the club. At this moment, those employed by them to do so have failed miserably to do so, hence the last 1000 pages of bickering, insulting and debating the value of an England call up in the Jordan Henderson era. A quality signing or two and ALL will be forgiven
