Whatever way you spin it mate, this summer is much better than the last few.

Because we don't have to sell anyone, and we're able to spend.

We're also going into a new stadium, without a threat of any point deduction.

So if the manager is fuming now, imagine what we'd have done to him the last few years.
I've said previous I'm glad Branthwaite was locked into a bigger longer contract. We get the full BMD experience in 7 days and 2.5 hours.

It's academic about the last few years, Dyche earned last season strangling us over the line with the points deductions in the previous season, but he'd gone right stale and defensive to a fault and had to be replaced because we were in a spot. Moyes cobbled together a side and a means of playing with some infuriating players, most of whom are now looking for pastures new. If he can get his players and improve the side as a whole then we'll see better form and more entertaining games.
Few sides outside of the trophy winning ones have been able to splash the cash so readily, once the transfers start up there'll be moves going like a machine gun rate, side. agents and players are waiting it out, who blinks first etc.
All managers are damned if they say anything, and damned if they don't. The online hive of activity re fans sated lusts for info, moves, players, has never been harnessed and exploited like now. We are our own worst enemy.

Well, no. Which is the point. To recap;

My point was if Moyes is thoroughly pissed off now even having spent some money, imagine if he'd had to tolerate the years before when we had to make a profit every window and make do with the likes of Young and co.

@Rita_Poon feels the flip side is poor Moyes has to deal with a massive squad turnover, but in reality, that's a good opportunity and he'd have been able to keep anyone he wanted.

but he’s had that in the past selling our best players, he’s got rid of who he’s wanted to through choice

if he’d of kept them they’d be chaos

him or our transfer team have obviously found it more difficult than they thought

doesn’t mean they’ve sat on therye ass for 5 weeks

The summer cannot objectively be judged until Sept 1st.

It would appear that some of our targets may have been optimistic given our recent form in the Premiership and lack of European football.
But then we would also be unhappy if we went for safe targets with less potential.

If just one or two of our better targets can come off then we will have had a great summer.
We will see a couple of uninspiring free transfers as well as a couple of loans as well probably.

The age profile of the players we have signed already and the targets we are rumoured to be chasing is very encouraging and speaks of a long term project which is what we are.

We are in transition, I think the target for this season is top half, if we get higher top half then we are ahead of expectation.

I believe we have a decent team when everyone is fit but a weak squad.

i support moyes and i don’t think he’s been let down atall

we’ve tried to sign the players he wants as first choice and we haven’t

as some have said NO
I hope these new owners do not have a new Manager in their sights & are deliberately frustrating DM - so he walks - remember back when they stated they only wanted him till the end of the season etc .. They are ruthless look at their other club they sack managers easily .....
