Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

In the meantime, the search goes on. Everton are a right winger and two midfielders away from being much nearer to where they want to be. Douglas Luiz, the Juventus midfielder, has been discussed, but the Italians want £40million. There has been interest in Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and then the intrigue surrounding Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.

It is understood that City are looking to recoup as much of his £300,000-a-week wages as possible in return for letting the England international leave on loan for the season. That could amount to almost £12million, though Everton are not dissuaded by the finances involved.

They have other priorities right now but Grealish, who turns 30 next month, is a name that could be revisited. And so, as concerning as it may be for some, September 1 — rather than August 1 — will be the day to judge Everton’s activity.

Just have to hope that we are not in the relegation zone come 01 September.

I did say some people cannot accept the reality.
I think we’ve found one.
It’s as obvious as the big nose blocking your vision.
No money no signings.
Big money big signings.
And you think I’m strange😂😂😂😂

Theres a few of new members who all signed up in july this year, all called bitter and all only seem to want to put everton down and continuously spout blatant non truths such as we have no money and were not signing anyone.

Just strange something i noticed

it’s the “luiz”one in worried about

clearly we’re not we’re we/us/him
wanna be in signing wise

we SIMPLY CANT just think it’s ok
wel get him and then we don’t
and we’ve got no CMs we need creativity in middle of park

as for the rest i do think wel get a good few in, and its correct in saying

judge by the end of the window

I think we now need to pull out all the stops to get everyone we are linked with.

Douglas Luiz slots right into midfield. Garner not good enough and never has been.

Dibling right wing. Can’t get Subo or Fofana so go and get him. A good little player.

Dewsbury Hall would do a job for us although he’s basically played not football in a few seasons now due to going to Chelsea, pointless move for him.

Grealish. Will do a job similar to N’Diaye especially if N’Diaye gets injured. Grealish loads to prove and he’s someone who gets the ball and runs forward. Something we always cry out for.

Go and just sign them all.

if you want to sign them all, its not a case of just go sign them, this is why its a game of chess.

I’ve been bitter since 1985,but you couldn’t guess why could you?
As for running Everton down I’ve been an Evertonian since the 60’s.
I just say like I see it.
And as for blatant untruths like having no money are you saying we do have money, when others are querying whether we can’t get player transfers over the line because of financial limits on how much we can bid?
I only come on here to keep up with the latest info from the knowledgeable people I read on here each day.
Sadly you are just a nitpicking nob.
