Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Really surprised by people’s reactions to this, it’s one of the best links of the window for me.
Agreed. Be delighted if we got him. Carries the ball brilliantly, strong and skilful. He's also probably more attainable than the likes of Kubo etc.

I understand Moyes wanting players who are more likely to make an immediate impact, but in the medium term players like him, Aznou, Barry are giving us a base of saleable assets

He's also just not what this side needs as a right winger. He's not that fast, he doesn't carry the ball a great distance and he's not exceptionally creative. I'd take him if he was to be someone's backup, but not as a starter
Same doesnt really fix the problem of lack of pace out wide

Yeah honestly dont kno much about him at all is he a winger or i was thinking what moyes wanted in mcatee in a player who can play out wide and in the center

Im surprised at the reactions surrounding the Dibling bid. He was spoken of as a player with a massive potential last season, and the only positive in that horrible side. Hes not Fofana, but he isnt a bad signing IF we get him for 30-35m. Lots of upside, with potential to make a big profit in the future.
I'm shocked Spurs or Cheatsea haven't bid for him in all honesty

‘I can’t believe we’ve gone from this 20 year old winger in the £30m bracket to that 19 year old winger in the £30m bracket it’s so scattergun’. The mind boggles.
Well. we wait two weeks for a CL level left winger to blow us out then drop half the valuation on a right winger .....literal definition of scattergun....we do not even know what positions we are filling.

The type of player we should be signing. English, young, loads of potential
Probably right and as I said earlier, we should start a long term plan of buy, develop, sell…
These players are more obtainable for us than going for the hyped premium players.

As much as many seem to want to recreate the disaster that was summer 2017, we should be sensible with a clear strategy but with moyes sounding off in the press, it’s not making the club an attractive option for the players we need to survive this season
