Certain members of the committee are thinking about perhaps suggesting him to the other committee members so that they can consider whether they might want to speak to the player and club before they contemplate making an informal offer for the player in advance of potentially adding him to the list of players who could interest the club.
A decision was due imminently but the committee member is now deciding whether another player might be better to concern themselves with.

1 month of the window to go and we need 3 players at a minimum to have enough numbers (24 players). Plus most of GOT think we should get rid of or loan out Tyrer, Patterson, Armstrong, Iroegbunam, Chermiti.

I reckon this all boils down to money. We used to offer big wages which was why we attracted players, now we’re trying to chase decent players but aren’t offering the big money. Most players don’t give a sh** about European football, they will go for the money.

I don't think it is money at all.

It is clear we are chasing players of a high quality but unfortunately we can't offer European football and we have a recent history of battling relegation.

The players we would like will need a lot of convincing to join us.

The hope is that some will.

I imagine they offered the asking price, and we were trying to structure a deal where we pay £10 now and the rest of it in instalments until 2035, with another £2.50 on top if we win the champions league
