More money for juventus...What's the better terms mate ?
Both clubs they are at are in EuropeI think Everton are not the most attractive proposition for many of these players and they are quite rightly considering all options before committing their future. I don't think wages or fees are the issue here. We're not going to be low balling clubs or agents.
Luiz, Fofana - both want to play in European competitions and will probably hold out in the hope that the opportunity presents.
McAtee - if we are interested, he will want to ensure that he has considered all options before choosing his next club
City want 45 mil for Mcatee we are not paying that on a unproven youngsterThe bottom line is we need another 3 or 4 minimum to have a competitive squad.
They can't afford to hedge their bets on getting them later in the window and need to offset that risk by getting a couple in by the Roma game.
At this stage that means no more waiting on Luiz, McAtee etc, or at least on some of them. Get a couple in now that want to be here.
Get two done in the next week and then if the waiting game plays off, fine, for any of the preferred targets that are left. We should be looking for loans on top too.
Surely the list of targets he/we had didn't walk out the door when he left though? I appreciate it’s a new regime and better players have been targeted but there just seems to have been a complete lack of continuity.Showing how good a job Kev had done by always going after attainable player with 3 examples of players he didn't actually sign
Seeing this a lot in regards to our (lack of) business this summer. In theory I agree but what if the players they know are eager to join just aren't good enough? But on attainability "you cant force players to sign, shrug", surely part of recruitment is identifying players who'd be willing to come?
We are not allowed, there a big sign up in FF that saysHere's an idea, why don't we sign a RB, a position we've been woefully short at for years now, and then O'Brien can play at CB and Keane can do some sudoku or something?
45 million is what City wantI actually think a few have been willing and we haven't closed out the deals, either with clubs or players.
Im full sure we know what it would take to say get McAtee over the line and haven't done it.
That's why i think Moyes is annoyed.
Just hope we might be able take advantage for loan moves late in the window. Esp club like chelsea alot of players who wont get near the teamChelsea are signing another leftback as cover for the curly-permed geezer. And he's costing more than we paid for Barry. Not relevant to this thread, but I felt like it might cheer us up...
