Exception of branthwaite that was our full squad.
Thought they looked much more comfortable when they went to a back 4
and better again with Tark on and obrien at RB
We have a good back line, it's a shame it was messed up on tour, hard for moyes to build on that defense.
Think we really need a good strong old fashioned miidfielder.
Thought Armstrong looked alright and Hayes had a good cameo.
Some of the close control was ok at times
No idea why they cant pass a ball further than 10 yards tho.

Hate to say it, but the season kicks off in 2 weeks and we look more like a team of retired pros and c list celebrities in a one off unicef charity match, than a premier league team.
Not even close to where we should be and way behind almost every other prem team I’ve seen play this pre-season.

Whatever Garner was trying to do for their 2nd.
Defensively, so many incredibly sloppy individual mistakes in these first two games of this series.
Positive is Tarks returning. And when we can get back to our normal back 5 (hopefully vs Roma) and I would expect a return to normality defensively.
