Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The most charitable interpretation is that Moyes is signaling urgency and a willingness to move on from current offers and proposals. He's indicated that there is a budget — but it's not that big, and they need to decide how to spend it well — and made it clear that they're going to continue looking and want deals done quickly.

It may be wishful thinking, but I don't want to believe he's pressuring the board or the CEO, or expressing frustration with the leadership team. If you're a club or an agent stalling for more, Moyes may just be putting on the pressure. It looks bad from where we sit, but if you're Douglas Luiz or Malick Fofana, and no one else has put in a formal bid yet, you may be inclined to agree before the only formal offer you have walks away.
The other part I didn't want to say, but I guess I should, is that in this way, Moyes also sets himself up as being a straight shooter who didn't sell you the moon if the window ends as a bust. You can still respect him in the end.

Just Googled him, never heard of him...he died in Skegness 2016.

Imagine snuffing your lid in Skegness, that extremely grim.
