Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

not surprised by the interview at all…

The speed of recruitment has been a shambles, and with only 16 days till the start of the season we really need to get moving asap… as like at least 2 more deals done this week.

Expect if no movement by end of this week some will start to appear above the sand and realise it’s in fact August!

Fair F***s Davey Moyes, calling it out for what it is.

Our crack team of highly paid technical & executive wallers are not getting things done.

Unacceptable & we’ll be loitering around the bottom 3 come December begging to go through all this again come January before being told that window is notoriously difficult to navigate.

This window is huge, they need to pull their fingers out & get in right.

We’re Everton aren’t we.

Except we won’t be.

They have to get a couple in by the Roma game.

If that doesn't happen, then there is every chance things will boil down to the lottery of what they might be able to do on deadline day.

Let's hope that doesn't come to pass. If it did, it would mark the window as a shambles. Nobody thought that was a possibility.

The difficulties aside, it doesn't reflect well on Kinnear in particular and TFG will certainly have noticed.

I cannot accept at all that there aren't sufficient numbers of players we could attract and afford, in a global market, that would improve us. That excuse doesn't wash. I imagine there has been disagreement about strategy, and thus the net is not being cast as far and as wide as it could.

Exactly… current squad = relegation battle

Why is Fellows getting such stick? He got loads of assists last season and noone knows how he'd do in the Premier League, yet everyone seems to ridicule him?

Also, I think Hackney at £15m would be decent value. And I reckon the likes of Ivanovic at Millwall and Van Ewijk at Coventry would also do well.

PL snobbery I suspect. Keep seeing people say Fellows isn’t fast but has anyone actually watched him in a game to work it out? His clips are all crosses and shots, not timed 100m dashes 😂
