Transfer Rumour Douglas Luiz

The latest from Gianni Balzarini is just a bit about Juventus apparently trying to scare players into agreeing to exits.

For real. He talks about how Juventus wants to part with Nico GonzĆ”lez, Dusan Vlahović and Douglas Luiz and refuses to pay any kind of severance. Their leverage to try to get them to agree to terms with buying clubs without a severance payment from Juventus is the threat that if they don't, they'll sit on the bench and won't have a chance to be called up for the World Cup.

He still hasn't said anything serious about other clubs in for Douglas Luiz, so I read this as, "Agree to the Everton deal if you want a shot at the World Cup."

Low quality sites like everton dot news continue to say nonsense about Nottingham Forest being in for him and Everton now changing targets. They don't know anything and don't cite anyone who does. Better sources say that Forest are exploring a bid for Nico Gonzalez, not Douglas Luiz. Everton remains the only bid.

Mourinho called Luiz to pitch him on a move, but they haven't bid. Any deal would seem difficult to manage because Juventus needs to avoid a loss and Fenerbahce would have a hard time coming up with a suitable package.

Having said that, I've been kind of fixated on this for a while, and I really think he could be transformative for us, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Moyes pull out if progress could be made for a younger target with a big upside. No clue who would fit that bill.

at the latest press con, Moyes did stress aznou was young and needed time. said the same about Barry too which tells us Moyes does want the likes of Grealish and Luiz to come in and take us up another level straightaway.

It’s bizarre how many people I’ve seen putting Barry ahead of Beto. I’m talking about journalists and YouTube would-be pundits drawing up formations and the like. Clueless.
