Disagree. We are so far behind other sides at the moment and the gap just gets bigger and bigger. We need to turbocharge things a bit. Signing mid-level dross and nothing else, keeps you there at best and probably actually moves you backwards. You then get stuck with players no-one else really wants- that's been our issue for years. We need to find a way of getting some actual quality into the squad.

So what you're saying is all we need is a statement signing to signal to the world that we mean business . Then that will turn the heads of other potential targets ? That's genius yet so simple, nice one . Hopefully the club can see this too.
