Other Clubs Transfer Window 2025-2026.

Looks like Diaz is off. I always thought he was decent for them. Proven pace, goals and assist from out wide. Not always easy to find in the market.
I'd have loved if he had come here (remember that original interest?), and I'd still have him here. He clearly isn't happy there for whatever reason.

Sadly, they'll get good money for him, which will help them with PSR and probably ease Isak in, especially if the donkey goes, too.

All the top clubs will always have money regardless of PSR or any mistakes they make in recruitment. United have shown that by still being able to drop 130 mill ok two forwards despite over a decade of mismanagement.

Instead we probably have to hope for some sort of team imbalance issue despite the star names. The team under Klopp and which Slot inherited had forwards who would work for Salah. Firmino Diaz Gakpo Jota would all work super hard off the ball and often engineer moves for Salah to finish. All we can hope is that Isak and Ekitike alongside Salah may not be as accommodating for doing that type of work. Isak has been used to being the sole focal point for a team built around him.

Then what's the point of a release clause then? The whole idea is "if a bid of this amount comes in, you can leave", no? It's just weird that it would be a secret thing.
That still happens, just now the player is sold for what the buying club thinks the player is worth, not what the contract deems his value at which may have increased vastly since he signed the contract

Has Diaz forced a move or did they want rid of him?
Been reported Liverpool won't meet his wage demands.

Diaz been given permission to leave tour now with deal now agreed with Bayern. Two attempts to agree a new contract failed due to gap in demands and offers.

Some of the fees that the RS get for their players are incredible
