Two monetary permanent signings and fill four loan spots would be my guess. If the two permanent signings are of sufficient quality at right wing and central midfield, and the remaining players are loans for squad depth then I’d be happy with that.

I am in the 9 includes the 3 already signed camp. RB, LB, DM, CM/AM, RW, versatile forward who can play across front. I wonder if the current Roma RB Celik on loan might be next in when Wesley signs for them. He can cover CB in a back 3 as well so his versatility might appeal.

Ths is his last big pay day and he doesn't have the dynamism for the job anymore. Unrecognisable to the man who was here first time around IMO. You just have to listen to him post match. The fire is out. The interest gone. And by that I mean obsessive interest, the type we saw 12 years and more ago.

He'll play ball with parsimonious owners and we'll run relegation a close thing if we dont sign the required quantity and quality.
