We have 20 players ATM if we let Chermiti, Tyrer and Armstrong go on loan and Patterson leave we need 9 lol. So between 5 and 9 new players it is then

We have five weeks until the close of the window. We won’t get remotely close to 9 players and I think Moyes knows that. 5 or 6 maximum is much more realistic but even that might be a stretch. Based on what we’ve seen so far, are you confident? I’m certainly not.

They do have someone filling James Smith role currently, Lee Sargeson, until he can take up his post.

There seems to be a divergence of opinion at present where if you can't get your first choice, then you have to settle for a bad player, out of desperation.

That should never be the case. It shouldn't come as surprise to them that we are a hard sell. That's immediately obvious. It was in 2016, the summer of Witsel, Mata, and Coulibaly.

We're a decade on, we were not an attractive option then, we are not now.

I would have thought that between them, they could come up with a list of 25-30 players that are promising/decent and would cover most bases. Is the net spread wide enough? Have we looked in Asia / South America?

It's not that we sign like Burnley - a list of cheap unknowns that you know won't be good enough. But I really do find it hard to accept that they can't find players of a certain profile that would offer us enough scope to improve.

We have so much scope to improve, and many players that will find us a very good option.

Well I still think we get players in (around 5) but I would like some statement Signings instead of Harrison, Lindstrom, Broja type of loans

So 6 more players before the end feels a tad more realistic but based on the activity so far I still think it’s going to be a push!

At least 3 of the 6 have to be straight into the 1st team quality.

No one know what going on at Everton everyone guessing, don’t forget these guy don’t leak news. As far as I’m aware know-one knew about Hill Dickinson before it was announced.

People need to calm down and stop being so dramatic like a bunch of kids, we will sign players, we have no real idea who the club are looking at as they don’t leak info just sit back and enjoy the summer knowing we haven’t got Gaffer Day or there on the grass or Well if you put a few wins in there it doesn’t look to bad.

We won’t go down and we could get Europe, 2 extra wins at home last year and we would of been in Europe
