To enquire as to the current feeling about whether the deal would go through. For EVERYONE but Moyes it seems he was going to Juventus.

Another call could have been placed to:

B: Real Sociedad

To enquire as to the interest of the player and club in accepting an offer from Everton football club.

After nearly a month of the window being open and 6months (SIX MONTHS) after rejoining the club...

Is he? He’s currently in America coaching the squad. We’re led to believe he’ll have an input in recruitment in terms of what players to go for, but that’s it. He won’t be doing the negotiating, Hammond has been brought in to do that alongside the CEO. You can bet your bottom dollar Moyes will currently be just as frustrated as the rest of us at the lack of progress on recruitment.

Moyes will have the final say on ALL players, and no I wouldn't expect him to be involved with negotiations. The guy we hired from City doesn't actually start till Sept and have cleared out most of the others, so yes I would say it is the 3 of them doing everything atm.

We have 20 players ATM if we let Chermiti, Tyrer and Armstrong go on loan and Patterson leave we need 9 lol. So between 5 and 9 new players it is then
