I think Fellows is the last resort.
If he comes I think it will be with back up in mind.
I think Fellows is the last resort.
So here in lays our problem due a lack of activity.
Everyone knows our need for bodies and as the window gets smaller, our bargaining power becomes weaker and weaker....which always leads to overpayment.
Something inImagine there's no transfers,
It isn't hard to do,
No wingers or right backs,
And no creative midfielders too.
Hopefully he’s the backup. If he comes I think it will be with back up in mind.
Add the word more so.We have 2 first team players in already.
It was said many would turn against TFG eventually, if fact it was probably always inevitable, this is quick though even for Grandoldteamdotcom and its colourful personalities.
FWIW on the toffeetv live from new York baz stated they'd spoke to someome connected to the club and they were assured we're working hard to get players in. They didn't say who but if I was guessing it was probably graeme Stuart as he was at the event in some pub they went (not saying he knows anything but it's more likely than any of us).
Moyes has a press conference as well today so see what he say's when asked about transfers.
Didn't they hire the recruitment team?
In all seriousness, the lack of knowing exactly who to fume at is the worst thing about all this.
So I'm giving it until Wednesday before my head falls off and Moyes gets it.
See above
Kinnear has not been in place very long. Two of the new four don’t join until September. We are a work-in-progress organisationally and it is showing. It is not what we would ideally want in a window where we have to buy a minimum of 7-8 in total but it cannot be changed. All we can do is hope that they can get enough good work done in the coming weeks to give us a solid season and that we will be better placed next summer.
Frustration isn’t unreasonable right now but it is much too early to be deciding either the owners or executives are not up to it given just how much there is to be done at EFC and the strong progress off the pitch stabilising finances and starting to generate more commercial activity.
This window and the circumstances feel akin to the first transfer window Man United had post Ferguson when Moyes and Ed Woodward had an absolute nightmare, to the point it was hailed as disastrous.
Moyes even admitted he had no back up plan when Woodwards utter hopelessness at trying to sign Fabregas and Bale failed.
Let's really hope Moyes learnt lessons and the team at TFG are better prepared.
He'd have been the first one through the door for me.poor guy, that would not be good for his confidence.
