I'm content, for now, but wouldn't necessarily describe my overriding feeling as 'happy'...

I previously stated that I was pleased with the start, i.e. retaining who we needed to retain and swerved who needed swerving. But, of course (and once again) there's plenty of window left to go...

Given the chance? any number of them - we really don't know ultimately.

My original point was that their net contribution in terms of any significant output in goal contributions or defensive contributions last season was minimal for one reason or another, so in that sense - with the benefit of that hindsight - having say Armstrong/Heath/Clarke et al. instead may not have been all that significant...

There's so much more to it than the numbers.

Fitness, strength, touch, game intelligence.

For as bad as Harrison was he was really fit and always contributed on the defensive side and could run for 90 minutes. He also had a really good first touch and knew where to be on the pitch on and off the ball.

Lindstrom was an intelligent player who could get us moving with the ball and had a touch that got him away from the defender to open the game up, again like Harrison, always knew where to be on and off the ball.

Mangala was good for us and you could see the difference between him and Tim. Mangala was levels above him.

Whether fans are happy or not makes zero difference to progress on deals. That is the only certainty at present.
