He did that open the face of your right foot and hit it in the other direction shot that he got a little too obsessed with last season. Really hope Moyes has him working on his left daily.

I doubt he will get there tbh.

Even if he takes everything with his right as long as they keep going in I'm not arsed.

I think sometimes he needs to just put his foot through it on a one-on-one every now and then to stop the goalie cheating for that typical shot he does.

Yeh it's just he doesn't want to be sussed out so soon. You could tell after his initial goal streak keepers were wise to what he wanted to do.

He came on last night & gave us ife with pace & strength plus took a brilliant pen - it involved youngsters giving our team pace Dwight MacNiel looked so slow - the lids paticularly the overlapping right back looked excellent footwork pace link up play with Beto & Isac Heath caused them trouble getting us a pen with his pace ...
I could not see us scoring after they took the lead till then TBH !
We lack pace - Chermitti looks too lightweight- I was glad we equalised TBH

It is a Farke team and they'll be desperate to get off to a good start at home so expect they'll play a high line and he'll get opportunities on the break.

Think Barry will be eased in and we'll see him more in the home games in the opening weeks.

Hopefully gives him confidence, He's going to be a fan favorite anyway as he's a humble guy, we love a humbler. I loved him the first time he spoke to the press, such a lovely, honest player who speaks from the heart. Now start to believe in yourself Beto and make a nuisance of yourself this coming season. I'm delighted with Beto being our number 9.

For too long fans gave him a Niasse like reputation. Did my head in. Glad he got the chance to show what he could do for us otherwise it would have been another the club failed to utilise.

After years of watching him in Italy I said in September that if he was our main man he would get 10+ goals. He got 10 all comps. 8 in 15 starts in league.

25/26 #9 Beto is going to be even better.
