Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

We just signed Thierno Barry for our CF position so we have two competent footballers in Beto and Barry competing for that spot which both looks at the current period and future of the club and that position. Chermiti going on loan and an experienced striker coming in to be that third choice would also be forward planning as it would in an ideal world give Chermiti valuable experience and minutes that he needs to develop and wouldn't get at Everton.

Realistically, if we are going to sign another CF it's either going to be a free signing or a loan move in my opinion.
We could go for szmodics (back up option). Can operate as a striker, a winger and a CAM. Wouldn't cost too much either.

Is it really time to panic? Not sure tbf. For me if someone asked me would you be happy if come the end of July we had signed Alcaraz, a back up goalkeeper and Barry I wouldn't have been all that happy. The USA tour basically implies that no bussines will be done at least until August 10. Not looking that great taking into account that the first league game isn't to far away. We desperately need a winger and the state of our bench is terrible.

I feel like the fact that we no longer have a director of football doesn't help the cause one bit. Not a fan of this new system.

What is this narrative?

Theres no embargo, there's no ban on phones, computers and im sure those who are making the offers dont all have to travel.

You're not the only one to have said it, i just dont get why the first team playing games a 5 hour flight away stops Angus Kinnear or whoever making a call for a player.

I see now the water is lapping around knees the unconcerned look very awkward now.
Come in the waters nice. I am rewatching a DVD of Brett Angell's performance against Swindon Town in 93/94. One signing and we can all ask when the next one will be. Wpukd be nice though to get a late evening Everton are in advanced talks with .. for . ..

well my assumption is that Moyes plays a vital role in the process of us signing a player. Don't think that he will want to shift his focus towards the transfers while managing the team in what are our only proper friendlies.
