Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Oh wow this thread has proper gone off the rails hasn't it?!

The friendly today was at the HD and the club are posting clips online. I'm fairly sure if Antonio popped up in a blue shirt it'd have been noticed.

And yes, we can all find examples off boss early signings and crap late signings. Correlation ≠ causation and all that.
People care more about rumours and links than actual signings. Strange behaviour.

At what point do we ask the question: should we have gave Young another year?

Tbh its not an invalid question. However, I suppose the argument against would be should a club aspiring for top 8 even offer such a deal to begin with? A % of fans might still say 'yes' to that as he didnt actually let the team down last year. I'd be firmly in the 'no' camp though for clarity.

Where are you nut?

Ah, me nan just got back from Bramley Moore and said she spoke to Moyes who started talking Japanese to her and winked.

Ahhh right . If he started bowing his head as well that would be a different kettle of fish. Also sounds like your Nan had her Shreddies this morning for such roving reporting

Be realistic though. How much game time would Chermiti get over Barry and Beto?
If you are committed to developing a player a good amount of playing time is possible during a season , which ultimately benefits the club .
Playing someone like Antonio or Vardy will almost certainly only benefit the players retirement fund .
It’s a dead end , high cost , low return strategy.

It’s the 22nd July and we have 16 senior players on the books, I don’t think there is any forward planning going on for the men’s team as it stands. Probably waiting for the gardening leave lads who conveniently join in September.
According to goats squad thread, we have 20 players.

Can argue 18 senior players if you remove tyrer and Armstrong.

Who else aren’t you including?
