Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

  • Everton hold an interest in Bayern Munich’s Adam Aznou as they look for left-back cover this summer. The 19-year-old, who has been capped three times by Morocco, had a stint in Barcelona’s youth ranks before moving to Germany in 2022. Aznou spent part of last season on loan at Spanish side Real Valladolid, making 13 La Liga appearances. Everton manager David Moyes is keen to strengthen at left-back, with Ukraine international Vitalii Mykolenko currently his only option there after the departure of veteran Ashley Young.

20 years old?

Buy him.

I honestly don’t mind Al I think he has good intentions. But he’s very very conservative on things like transfers. Days after the Romano’s of this world had given the “here we go deal done new striker for Moyes” stuff on Barry, Al was still coming out with “still a lot of work to do” and “hurdles to overcome” stuff. Nothing wrong with that that’s just his way of doing things. At least doing it his way he doesn’t run the risk of looking like a fool when things go belly up at the 11th hour like Romano has in the past.

He’s conservative on transfers because he has absolutely no clue what is going on or where any deal is up to. It’s the easiest thing in the world to just say nothing is done, anyone on here could do that. It’s the people still tweeting him looking for inside scoops that burn my head out. I honestly wonder how some people manage to cross the road and live to tell the tale.

It's funny you should mention that, as I've been doing a study for 5 years regarding the correlation of a person who tweets Alan Myers and if they manage to cross the road.

I can confirm from 2346 subjects I investigated, only 1 person has tweeted Al more than once and the rest it looks like never made it across the road as they've never tweeted him since. The only person who has consistently continued to tweet him is some chap called Damo.
